It’s a wrap! 2023 AVA Chartered Veterinary Practitioner™ inaugural cohort set to commence

2022 saw the launch of the AVA Chartered Veterinary Practitioner™, with the inaugural 2023 student cohort now confirmed and due to commence on 23 January 2023.

“It is very exciting to see the progression of Australia’s veterinary accreditation for small animal practitioners be introduced this year,” says AVA Vice President and Chair of AVA CVP Education Committee, Dr Alistair Webb. “This has resulted from the work of a dedicated and enthusiastic team. The AVA and individuals from general and specialist veterinary practice, veterinary academia, industry and educational specialists from across Australia and internationally have developed this program over the past six years.”

The AVA Chartered Veterinary Practitioner™ offers:

  • Recognition as an accredited veterinary practitioner with post nominals
  • Flexible online self-paced learning complemented with structed interactive sessions
