Australian Small Animal Veterinarians: notice of annual meeting and call for nominations

Notice is hereby given of the Annual Meeting of the Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV), a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA).

Date:           Tuesday 26 July 2022

Time:           11.45am - 12.45pm (local)

Location:     The Darwin Convention Centre, Darwin, NT

In order to participate in our annual meeting, you must be a current financial voting member of the AVA and the ASAV. This year you can either attend in person during the 2022 ASAV Conference at The Darwin Convention Centre, Darwin, NT, or you can register to attend the annual meeting via a Zoom link. 

A registration link will be sent closer to the date of the Annual Meeting for those who wish to receive a link to attend via Zoom.

Join the ASAV Executive Committee

ASAV are seeking nominations for our Executive Committee.  There are three positions available which will commence as of the Annual Meeting in July 2022:

• One general committee member (a financial ASAV member from any geographical location)

• One western representative (a financial ASAV member from South Australia or Western Australia)

• One recent graduate representative (a financial ASAV member from any geographical location and less than three (3) years graduated with their veterinary degree at the time of appointment).
