Help decide the future of the AVA's leadership – vote in the 2023 Board Director elections!

Each year we invite AVA members to vote in the election of new directors to the AVA Board. This is an important opportunity for you to have a say in the leadership of your professional association. 

This year, eight eligible nominations were received: 

• Dr Alan Guilfoyle 
• Dr Angela Offord 
• Dr Brett Hodgkin 
• Dr Geeta Saini 
• Dr Jocelyn Birch Baker 
• Dr Sally Colgan 
• Dr Sam Kovac 
• Dr Suffien Suharju 

There are vacancies for two of these nominees to be appointed as directors for a three-year term.

How to vote  

Voting occurs using a personalised link that was sent to eligible voting members via an email from an independent provider called Big Pulse. The first email from Big Pulse was sent on 14 April 2023.  

Clicking on the link in the email will allow you to read more about each candidate. Once you have decided on your preferred candidate or candidates, you can then follow the instructions to vote.     

Please note that only you can use the link in this email, and you can only vote once. In order to vote you will need your AVA member number. This is to ensure that our voting process is secure.
