Nominations are now open for the 2023 AVA Awards

The AVA Awards are Australia’s most prestigious veterinary awards. Each year, we recognise AVA members or other professionals by presenting awards to those who have contributed significantly to veterinary profession in Australia and internationally.
The awards are presented every year at the Gala Dinner at the AVA Annual Conference.
Nominations are now open for this year’s AVA Awards, across several categories. These are:
- The Gilruth Prize
- The Kesteven Medal
- Fellow Awards
- Honorary Membership
- Meritorious Service Awards
- The Don Kerr Veterinary Student Award
Closing date for nominations: Friday 3 February 2023. Find out more about each award here.
Winners will be announced at the 2023 AVA Annual Conference Gala Dinner. The conference is being held 28 May – 2 June 2023 in Adelaide. The President's Award will also be presented on the night.
