Education and awareness of dog behaviour – resources now available

We are very pleased to share resources that have recently been made available by the Queensland Government as part of their community education and awareness program, in response to the consultation on stronger dog laws.

In the AVA’s submission to this consultation, we advised that there is a significant gap in community knowledge about how to live alongside and interact with animals, particularly dogs and highlighted the importance of raising awareness of dog safety, particularly for parents and caregivers with young children.
