The Australian Veterinary Journal (AVJ) is Australia's leading scientific publication and serves as a vital platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge veterinary research, featuring original scientific studies, short communications, case reports, reviews, and more. AVA members have unrestricted access to both open-access and member-only articles. 

An AVA membership also unlocks a plethora of scientific literature, granting access to over 300 full-text international peer-reviewed journals and magazines through the EBSCO Veterinary Source Database. This comprehensive resource covers all aspects of veterinary science and animal health, ensuring members stay at the forefront of their field. 

Accessing these resources is easy; simply log into the AVA website and select 'Access the AVJ' from the left-hand menu to be directed to the Wiley platform, where the latest veterinary research awaits (No additional login on the Wiley platform is required). 

For those interested in specific areas of veterinary medicine, Special Interest Group (SIG) memberships provide access to additional journals, complementing the wide array of educational opportunities and resources available.
