Central West Branch seminar on behaviour management and medication

Last month, Veterinarians in the Central West AVA branch were fortunate to welcome Dr Isabelle Resch to Orange for an evening seminar on veterinary behaviour with a focus on treatment and management of cases.

Dr Resch provided a framework for management of cases based on a thorough understanding of the common medications used in practice, their mode of action, time of onset, expected effects and side effects coupled with an understanding of the huge impact of individual variation in patients. 

Dr Resch discussed the emerging field of gut microbiota and its powerful effect on the brain and behaviour. 

Dr Resch’s informative talk will help local veterinarians deliver improved outcomes for our behaviour cases.
