NSW Local Land Services (LLS) Board Elections
22 May 2024NSW Local Land Services (LLS) is governed by the Local Land Services Board, comprised of a Ministerially-appointed chair and the chairs of 11 local boards. Each LLS region has a local board that is responsible for communications and engagement with local communities. In line with local and state priorities, these boards provide oversight of local strategic planning, performance monitoring and local policy. The LLS local boards develop and monitor the performance of their Local Strategic Plan, promote LLS services, encourage partnerships and building strong relationships with investors. They also represent their community, communicating the priorities and concerns of customers to local boards.
NSW LLS are currently holding 11 elections in the 11 LLS regions to fill 34 local board member roles. Voting opened 21 May and closes 5.00pm Friday 14 June 2024.
To vote you must first request an electronic voting pack. You can request an electronic voting pack until 5 pm Wednesday 12 June by either:
- Submitting your voting request online
- Calling 1300 795 299
- Visiting your local LLS office

Eligibility to Vote:
- You are eligible to vote if you are an individual, who is 18 or more years old and an occupier of a rateable holding under the LLS Act 2013. The holding may consist of wholly or partly rateable land.
- If you are not an individual (for example, your holding is managed by a company, partnership or trust) or there are two or more occupiers of a holding, you can nominate an authorised representative to vote on your behalf.
- If multiple holdings in a region are owned by the same occupier, only one vote may be cast on behalf of the holdings concerned. If an occupier owns holdings, in multiple LLS regions, you are eligible to vote in the election of each region.
