Veterinarians encouraged to participate in Wildlife Rehabilitation Sector survey
23 Jan 2025The NSW wildlife rehabilitation sector review involves consulting with stakeholders in the wildlife rehabilitation sector and veterinary practices who provide essential support. Through this consultation process, the review will:
- examine current practices
- evaluate previously implemented strategies

As part of the consultation process, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water have prepared a survey to capture the range of views from the sector, which will assist in identifying what is working well and areas for improvement.
The survey is now open and is scheduled to close on 28 February 2025. Veterinarians are encourage to participate. Please note this survey is not applicable to people outside the wildlife rehab and veterinary sectors.
Information on the review process can be found on the website at Wildlife Rehabilitation Sector Strategy.
