AVA advocacy continues in QLD

With a new government in Queensland, AVA is eager to engage with incoming parliamentarians to advance the initiatives outlined in our election priorities. Through ongoing advocacy, we will address the pressing needs of the veterinary profession, including support for graduate training, workforce shortages, animal welfare standards, and biosecurity preparedness.

We see this as an excellent opportunity to form new partnerships and further elevate the standing of veterinary professionals across the state. Our commitment to Queensland veterinarians remains firm, and we look forward to productive discussions that prioritise and enhance veterinary services. The AVA will work proactively with government leaders to advocate for meaningful advancements and maintain a united, professional voice on behalf of all veterinarians in Queensland.
