QLD Division President Report - February

Welcome to another year for the QLD AVA. We have already had a big couple of months undertaking multiple areas of advocacy. I have recently had a meeting with the QLD regional Labour Party in order to discuss what we as vets need to help us succeed in the next few years. Some topics discussed included advocating for HECS forgiveness for vets in regional areas as well as discussion about how much vet clinics spend on strays/wildlife and how the government may be able to help us with this financial burden.

The QLD vet summit is back this year so please look out for communications about this event in the coming months as it is an event not to be missed.
