SA Division President's Report - August 2024

Congratulations to all those who have recently passed membership examinations, it is a significant achievement, and it is wonderful to hear about the growing veterinary skill base in SA. 

It has been a quiet month at the AVA; we had our first meeting as the new committee and are continuing to work in the background on some events to bring you in the second half of the year. 

From my perspective, it has been lovely having students on mid-year holidays through the clinic, their enthusiasm and passion for our profession reminds us of why we are here. 

Watching them enjoy learning, have those moments of neuron connection when solving a problem and then applying that to contribute to a great outcome for patient and client is plenty reward for having them in the clinic. 

So short and sweet update from here….hoping to grab your attention.
