VIC Stakeholder Workshop - Animal Welfare Victoria Pet Census

Research is being conducted by Animal Welfare Victoria, of the Victorian general community to establish an understanding of the overall companion and hobby animal ownership landscape in Victoria and also the attitudes and issues among pet owners.

The AVA has been involved as a key stakeholder in the workshop and additionally provided written information to assist the government in understanding the importance of pets to most individuals and society overall, and the roles and significance of registered veterinarians and veterinary hospitals for this to occur.
