VIC University of Melbourne EMS Working group

A collaborative working group of AVA veterinarians and the University of Melbourne has been formed to discuss Extra-mural Services, where veterinary students receive clinical training in private practice veterinary hospitals.

The structure of EMS, private practice contribution and sustainability of the veterinary profession to provide this service will be discussed. There is acknowledgement of the significant contribution of Victorian veterinarians to the clinical education of veterinary students.
