AVA presents research component of Veterinary Wellness Project via Zoom webinar

The research stage of the AVA's Veterinary Wellness Strategy development is now complete. 

The AVA's partner in this work, SuperFriend, has synthesisezed the collective insights from all stages of the project, including a literature review and desktop analysis, focus group discussions, one-on-one interviews, and an industry-wide stakeholder survey. 

On Tuesday 26th October, the results of these research activities, in the form of a Stakeholder Report, were presented to the profession, via a Zoom webinar. 

This Stakeholder Report provides us with the informed, and representative data essential to developing an effective wellness strategy. Our next steps will be to review the recommendations from this report in the context of our current landscape, and in combination with other data collected by the wider profession, develop a strategy capable of affecting the positive change essential to improving mental wellness within the profession, and in turn, facilitating sustainable and thriving careers.
