It’s your chance to get involved in AVA Conference 2024. Our 2024 AVA Conference theme is ‘Living Well’, with a focus on taking care of yourself and patients with chronic conditions.

The new-look AVA Conference will feature a streamlined format, a renewed focus on research, environmentally sustainable video proceedings and so much more.

We are collaborating with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) to bring you the most up to date veterinary research with the inaugural AVA Conference Research Day.

The AVA Conference Program Committee is currently accepting abstracts to present research as part of the conference program. The abstracts can be recent research, clinical projects, or a case series or individual case report involving any aspect of veterinary science. The AVA is offering two $5,000 prizes for the best research presentation. Abstract submissions close on Monday 4 December 2023.

The THRIVE Veterinary Wellness Symposium was such a success last year it will be extended to a full day of thought-provoking wellness topics based on the program’s 3 pillars - Promote, Prevent and Protect. These events will be held on Monday 27 May and our Special Interest Groups will hold workshops on Friday 31 May.

Have you ever considered speaking at AVA Conference? The scientific program will run from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 May, with the topic-based program focussing on improving the quality of life for animals with chronic conditions and enhancing veterinary practice to help veterinary professionals achieve longevity and satisfaction in their careers and life.

It’s a great chance to showcase your knowledge, gain recognition and open doors to exciting opportunities. Speaker EOIs close Tuesday 7 November 2023.
