AVA Conference 2024 – Research Abstract submissions now open

24 Nov 2023

In 2024, the AVA is collaborating with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) to present the inaugural AVA Conference Research Day.

To be held in Melbourne from 27–31 May 2024, the AVA Conference is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your research to key veterinary industry stakeholders.

The AVA Conference Program Committee is now accepting abstracts to present research as part of the conference program. The abstracts can be recent research, clinical projects, or a case series or individual case report involving any aspect of veterinary science.

The AVA is offering two $5,000 prizes for the best research presentation. One prize will be offered for veterinarians with specialist qualifications or higher degree holders (Masters and PhD) and another for interns, residents and generalist clinicians. To be eligible to win one of the prizes the presenting author must be an AVA member.

Abstract submissions for the 2024 AVA Conference close on Monday 4 December 2023. More information, including submission criteria, guidelines and frequently asked questions can be found on the AVA Conference website.
