AVA Conference starts on Monday!

 

Everything is in place and excitement levels are peaking, with AVA Conference set to kick off on Monday!

If you haven’t registered and don’t want to be hearing all the latest news from your veterinary community second-hand, there's still time to join your colleagues. Simply visit the registration desk at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with on-site registration available from 7am every day (8am Monday).

Monday Highlights

Research Day – an exciting collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, showcasing the latest veterinary research.

THRIVE Veterinary Wellness Symposium – a full day for the entire veterinary team, dedicated to enhancing wellbeing and fostering positive workplace change. 

Welcome Reception and Exhibition Opening – be among the first to check out the huge trade exhibition at this fun social event. 

Alumni Social Events – catch up with old friends, or make new ones, at your University Alumni Reception. 

Tuesday Highlights

Conference Program – over 40 sessions, including 6 sessions on treating brachycephalics; 6 dentisty sessions; 5 oncology sessions and 4 sessions on osteoarthritis. 

Plenary speaker Dr Rebecca Ray – Rebecca will show us how we can harness boundaries to unlock our confidence, wellbeing, and authenticity.

Wednesday Highlights

Vet Board Panel – myths and minefields with representatives from the Veterinary Surgeons' Boards across the country.

Thursday Highlights
