AVA pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

The AVA would like to formally pay our respects on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Elizabeth's daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, is an official patron of the Australian Veterinary Association. The AVA has prepared a letter of condolence to Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, which was formally noted at the most recent AVA Board Meeting and signed by AVA president Dr Bronwyn Orr.

"Queen Elizabeth II was known for her work ethic, humour and love of animals, particularly her fondness for dogs and horses,” says Dr Orr. “Her steady presence will be missed by many.”
