Certificate to Transport Cattle under veterinary advice

The Certificate to Transport Cattle under veterinary advice (Appendix A) and explanatory notes (Appendix B) developed by ACV are now accessible to all veterinarians via the AVA website.

These resources have been exclusively accessible to ACV members for the past few years.

However, it has been recognised by numerous government departments that these documents fulfill the need for a nationally standardised veterinary certificate template, aiding compliance with legislation and benefiting livestock, veterinarians, and stakeholders throughout the livestock market chain. Providing this certificate for use by all veterinarians not only supports animal welfare practices but raises the profile of the breadth of the work undertaken by the AVA and ACV.
