Speaker information

Sandra graduated from the University of Queensland in 1975, while simultaneously running a registered goat stud and commercial goat dairy. She then did her PhD using goats as her experimental animal. Her career has seen her working in government, university and on a large commercial goat farm. Sandra was the third person to do her ANZCVS membership examination in goats and is the current President of the Small Ruminant Chapter of the College. For the last 10 years Sandra has run a goat-only veterinary practice in Brisbane and has done training for both goat owners and veterinarians across Australia, although more recently via Zoom.
