Consultation on the Draft Queensland Code of Professional Conduct

The Queensland Veterinary Surgeons Board are consulting with the profession on a new draft Code of Professional Conduct. The AVA is currently preparing a formal submission.

The draft Code covers:

• Principles of pracitce
• Basic principles of professional conduct
• Professional responsabilities
  • Veterinary surgeons and animals
  • Veterinary surgeons and clients
  • Veterinary surgeons and the profession
  • Veterinary surgeons and the public

What you can do:

• Make your own submission directly to the Board via vsbqld@daf.qld.gov.au 
• Send your thoughts to the AVA for consideration in the development of the AVA Submission.

Submissions close 5pm, Monday 16 May 2022
