Expressions of interest are sought for positions on the Australasian Veterinary Examination Committee (AVEC)

The Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC) are seeking expressions of interest in a number of roles with the Australasian Veterinary Examination Committee (AVEC). On this occasion, applicants whose area of interest is Large Animal Medicine or Anaesthesia, are particularly sought.

AVEC has responsibility to develop and oversee the Australasian Veterinary Examination (AVE). The AVE has been developed to assist veterinarians who qualified overseas to obtain registration in Australia and New Zealand, thus enabling them to practice their profession. Details of the examination can be found on the AVE page of the AVBC website www.avbc.asn.au .

The Committee meets twice a year and is made up of 10 members. Membership is for a term of up to five (5) years with the potential for reappointment.
