Have Your Say: City of Hobart Dog Management Policy

11 Apr 2024

The City of Hobart is currently seeking community feedback to prepare a new Dog Management Policy.

The AVA has been invited to contribute to this consultation about responsible dog ownership, and how the policy should be implemented.
The Dog Management Policy is an important document, which:
•    outlines what it means to be a responsible dog owner,
•    shows where and when dogs can and cannot be exercised, and
•    determines how the City of Hobart should implement the policy and ensure responsible dog ownership.

The AVA will be providing a submission and invites members to be involved.

Details on the City of Hobart Dog Management Policy Review can be found here, including the Dog Management Policy (2019-2023)
