Help shape the AVA advocacy agenda in 2023

The AVA is currently developing its 2023 Advocacy Plan and is looking at the priority issues that we will put our resources into addressing. Our Advocacy Forum includes representatives of all our Divisions and Special Interest Groups. They have identified a large number of potential issues. We are seeking support from members to identify which issues are of the highest importance.

The key areas for consideration are:

• Emergency response
• Veterinary wellbeing
• Workforce sustainability
• Better regulation and reduced red tape
• Accessibility of veterinary services
• Animal health and welfare
• Economically sustainable of the veterinary business model
• One Health

The below survey will ask you to prioritise these issues and also give your thoughts on a more detailed list of potential areas of action. There is also space in the survey for you to add other issues that you would like to see the AVA address.
