Nominations sought for the Victorian School Animal Ethics Committee

The Department of Education and Training’s Victorian Schools Animal Ethics Committee (VSAEC) is actively recruiting to fill vacant volunteer Category A (veterinarian) and Category C membership positions.

The VSAEC oversees the care and use of animals as part of school teaching activities. The Category A (veterinarian) and Category C members are crucial to enable the review and approval of school applications for ‘teaching with animals’ projects. This is a chance for veterinarians residing in Victoria to actively contribute to optimising the welfare of animals used in teaching.

Nominations for Category A (veterinarian) and C members close on Friday 7 October 2022.
