International recognition for University of Adelaide veterinary student, Amie Kapusniak

Congratulations to Adelaide University vet student, Amie Kapusniak who has been awarded the ten-thousand-dollar research prize for her presentation ‘Heritability of Sudden Unexplained Death in Thoroughbred racehorses in Australia’ at the Calgary International Equine Symposium.  We speak with Amie about her passion for equine medicine and research, life as a university student during the pandemic and her advice for other vet students persuing their goals in the next edition of the AVA Digest.
