Registrations and abstract submissions open for the 3rd Australian Veterinary Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference

24 Feb 2023

Registrations are now open for the 3rd Australian Veterinary Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference (AVAMS23), being held at Crowne Plaza, Gold Coast from 20 to 22 November 2023.

Targeted at anyone from any sector who manages animal health, the conference will highlight antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) initiatives underway in Australia and address the barriers that impede further progress in this area. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with, and contribute to, AMS initiatives. AVAMS23 is a face-to-face event with pre-conference workshops on Monday 20 November and full sessions on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

Abstract submissions, for either an oral presentation or an elevator pitch plus poster, are also open for registrants. There are three categories for submissions:

  1. Australian Veterinary Antimicrobial Stewardship efforts
  2. Potential barriers to progressing AMS
  3. Potential solutions to progressing AMS

The closing date for abstract submissions is 20 June 2023.
