Updated Antibiotic Prescribing Guidelines now available

The Australasian Infectious Diseases Advisory Panel (AIDAP) has updated the Antibiotic Prescribing Detailed Guidelines for Companion Animals.

The revised guidelines incorporate the latest evidence-based research on antimicrobial use in companion animals, to assist practitioners to minimise the risk of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). It is a comprehensive guide which will help guide the decision making process as to whether antimicrobials are needed, and if so, how to use them judiciously.
