Sheep Toolkit

Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian working exclusively with sheep, or a recent grad in mixed practice, staying abreast of the latest practices, industry developments and regulatory changes is essential. That’s where the Sheep Toolkit comes in!

Evolving from a concept first floated in 2021, the launch of the Sheep Toolkit by AVA’s Sheep, Camelid and Goat Veterinarians (SCGV), is an exciting milestone that will enhance sheep veterinary practice.

Exclusively available free of charge to SCGV members, the Sheep Toolkit is a comprehensive online learning resource designed to equip vets with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in sheep veterinary practice.

On behalf of the SCVG Executive, current President Dr Peter Windsor is delighted that veterinarians across Australia will now have access to this extensive repository of knowledge. “Sheep veterinary practice is evolving rapidly, and staying informed is more critical than ever. That’s why it’s so exciting to have this vast expertise – not just theoretical knowledge but designed for real-world application – all in one place. We’re busy people, often out on the road, and to have this easy-to-use resource so readily accessible is incredibly valuable for our members.”
