Neurodiversity Celebration Week 18 to 24 March 2024
15 Mar 2024
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, and organisations with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent, while creating more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual.
In keeping with neurodiversity week, Converge International (the providers of the AVA’s HR Advisory Service) will present a free Transforming Lives Webinar on Embracing and Managing Neurodiversity in the Workplace, facilitated by organisational psychologist Vashti Wallace.
Neurodiversity affects approximately 15% of the population, so it is likely that one in seven of your staff are neurodiverse. Whilst neurodiversity can present some challenges in the workplace, it can also provide many benefits, if managed effectively. Ineffective management of neurodiversity can impact engagement, wellbeing and performance.
