Veterinary nurse training included in the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives System

Now that veterinary nurses are on the priority skills list, they have also been placed on the Australian Apprenticeships priority list from 1^st January 2023.

The Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System supports Australian Apprentices and their employers by providing financial and non-financial support to increase commencements and completions.

A range of veterinary nurse qualifications are eligible for this initiative and there are incentives for both the apprentices and employers.
