If you've been wondering how to improve the sustainability of your practice, attract more values-aligned staff, and reduce the operating costs of the business... Then this is for you.

Vets for Climate Action (VFCA) have recently launched their highly anticipated Climate Care Program, an Australia-wide initiative designed to empower vet teams to take the lead on environmental sustainability. Created by vets and vet nurses for veterinary teams, the aim is that it is realistic and workable in a busy clinic environment.

This online, six-module program will offer step-by-step support to:

  • reduce energy and water use
  • reduce waste
  • help make informed sustainable procurement decisions
  • offer solutions to reduce chemical use
  • create a culture of sustainability
  • increase profitability
  • reduce overall emissions, creating a better world for the animals we love and need

With a successful ‘preliminary launch’ that started in May 2022, involving more than twenty clinics of varying sizes from all across Australia, registration for the Climate Care Program is now open to all veterinary practices!

The Climate Care Program is self-paced, making it easy to implement practical solutions, even in a busy veterinary practice.

It is a recognised professional development course with the relevant materials to make a credentialed course eligible for CPD. Climate Champions may be eligible for CPD Points.
