AVCB Student Award
APPLICATION FORM

Applications are invited for the AVCB Student Award with the award winner to be presented at the ASAV Conference or other appropriate occasion. The award winner will be announced via AVA News article or the AVCB Newsletter.

For this application you are required to submit three (3) documents:

1. Written Submission
Criteria:
  • Applicants should ideally demonstrate involvement in and commitment to Conservation Biology.
  • Applicants may provide examples of specific involvement and use supporting references where available.
  • Applicants should demonstrate an intention to develop career opportunities in the veterinary profession and may provide examples of proposed or completed work experience gained. 
  • File format accepted: Microsoft Word (.docx)
2. Resumé
  • Outlining their work and interests as a veterinary student, highlighting their activities and achievements relating to conservation biology.
  • Not more than 500 words.
  • File format accepted: Portable Document File (.pdf)
3. Letter of Recommendation
  • From an academic staff member who is engaged within the wildlife area either in teaching or research.
  • File format accepted: Portable Document File (.pdf)
