At a recent workshop in Melbourne the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC) and the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA) agreed to work together to progress the issue of nationally consistent regulation and title protection of veterinary nurses and technicians. 
This week saw veterinary professionals come from all corners of the country to attend the inaugural THRIVE Veterinary Wellness Symposium. The event was extremely well attended, with 140 delegates there to watch three incredible speakers: Paul Davey, Amanda Goodfellow and Olivia (Liv) Oginska.
The Australian Veterinary Association is pleased to see the release of the Animal Health Australia annual report, which outlines many projects which the AVA has contributed to.
