The AVA offers members an extensive collection of scientific literature and helpful resources to support you throughout your veterinary career.

Australian Veterinary Journal

The Australian Veterinary Journal (AVJ) is Australia's leading scientific publication in the field and provides an essential forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge veterinary research. The AVJ publish original scientific research, short communications, case reports, reviews, book reviews, letters to the Editor, obituaries and more. 

There are a range of open-access and member only articles published each year in the AVJ and your AVA membership provides you access to all of them. Be sure to log into the AVA website to receive the full benefit of your access to the AVJ. Once logged in select ‘Access the AVJ’ from the left-hand menu and the link will take you directly to the Wiley platform where you can find the latest in veterinary research for the Australian Veterinarian. ​

There is no need to login/register on the Wiley platform, your membership acts as an institutional login.

 

Veterinary and Animal Health Journal Access

Your membership provides you access to over 300 full text international peer-reviewed journals and magazines devoted to all aspects of veterinary science and animal health though the EBSCO Veterinary Source Database.​

You can search for journals and articles by selecting ‘Veterinary and Animal Health Journals’. You will be redirected to the EBSCO platform to begin your search.

 

Special Interest Group Journals

Your Special Interest Group membership provides you access to journals in additional to the many other educational opportunities and resources.
