This month NSW Division held our annual face-to-face committee meeting at the AVA offices at St Leonards. We have continued our advocacy this month on pounds, and we need your input to protect our ability to prescribe drugs to our patients in NSW.
A huge thank you to all those involved with this year’s WA Division Conference held earlier in November. I believe we’ve found the sweet spot for conference topics combining progressive medicine that can be implemented across general practice. While we love to change up the location of the cocktail party every year, I think anyone who attended would agree the food and service at Sailing for Oranges in Fremantle will be a hard act to beat.
The Industry Advisory Group for Veterinary Nursing (WA) was re-established in 2023 under the direction of the National Industry Advisory Group for Veterinary Nursing (NIAG).
The QSBC provides practical information, support and assistance to help Queensland small businesses thrive.
As veterinary practices operate, in the majority, as small businesses across Australia, the AVA is reaching out to the Small Business Commissioners and other relevant government departments to engage them in discussions around the challenges facing the veterinary profession as part of the small business sector.
