Canine otitis externa is a common condition in dogs which has traditionally been managed with multi-dose take-home medications. This frequently results in significant compliance challenges from pet owners, often leading to frustration and poor outcomes. A study1 has shown that up to 80% of owners gave the incorrect dose when administering ear products to their dog.
Dental disease is the most common pet health problem, with data showing that 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have some level of disease by age 2¹. The key to controlling dental disease is plaque. This biofilm consisting of saliva, bacteria and food particles sticks to teeth and accumulates. It is important to ensure clients know that dental care is a two-step process involving both professional and home care.
