Expression of Interest – AVA Webinar Hosts

The AVA is seeking Expressions of Interest from members interested in hosting AVA client-sponsored webinars throughout 2026.

This is a great opportunity to support professional development across the profession, build your facilitation skills, and contribute to the success of AVA’s webinar program.

What does a webinar host do?

As a webinar host, your role is to:

• Introduce the presenter(s)
• Monitor the chat and Q&A functions
• Facilitate audience questions and discussion

You won’t be responsible for delivering content - your role is only to ensure the session runs smoothly.

Time commitment

• Approximately 1–2 hours per webinar (including a brief pre-session setup)
• Opportunity to host multiple webinars across the year, depending on your availability

Webinar schedule
We have a number of webinars scheduled across the year (generally held at 8:00pm NSW time Monday to Thursday evenings), within Small Animal and Business interest areas.

Skills
We’re looking for members who:

• Are confident using Zoom and its key functions
• Have a strong and reliable internet connection
• Are comfortable facilitating online discussions
