The AVA is making two submissions to appeal the TGA's interim decisions on the rescheduling of transmucosal meloxicam and lidocaine.

The Victorian Division of the AVA will be preparing a submission in response to the Plan for Victoria's new animal care and protection laws which will replace Victoria’s current Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.

The NSW Department of Education is conducting a survey to learn more about the extent and causes of skills shortages in NSW, especially in regional areas.

Consultation on proposal for the NSW Auditor-General to carry out performance audits of the use of public monies by non-public sector entities to provide goods or services to the public on behalf of the State and Local Governments.

The AVBC is undertaking a review of the AVBC Accreditation Standards and is seeking comment on these draft accreditation standards and draft accreditation methodology. Feedback to inform the AVA submission to the AVBC is due by 9.00am Monday 29th August 2022.

Member feedback is sought on the draft NSW Biosecurity and Food Safety Strategy 2022-2030. The draft Strategy aims to better protect the state’s economy, environment, and community against growing biosecurity and food safety threats.
