Constitution Vote 2025

Our Constitution is the foundation of everything we do. As part of the AVA’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, we are making important updates in response to member feedback, shaping a governance framework that reflects how we work today and positions the profession for the years ahead. 

The member vote on the proposed Constitution will take place on: Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 1:00pm (AEDT). Register here by Wednesday, 29 October 2025 at 5:00pm (AEDT) to attend and vote on 30 October 2025. 

Can't attend the meeting?

If you have submitted your completed Proxy Nomination form to secretariat@ava.com.au by 1:00pm (AED) on Tuesday 28 October 2025, your nominated proxy will vote on your behalf based on the options you have submitted:

OPTION 1 GENERAL PROXY: If you know someone who will attend and you would like them to vote at their discretion, you can choose a General Proxy.

OPTION 2 SPECIAL PROXY: Your vote will be recorded exactly as you instruct and can't be changed. Mark For or Against for each Special Resolution.
