The NSW Government is subsidising veterinary laboratory testing for new livestock disease investigations until 30th June 2023. Testing is available for disease investigations conducted by private veterinarians on livestock that are susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease.

The “Glovebox Guide: Biosecurity, emergency animal diseases and preparing livestock for transport” provides clear, digestible, contemporary information on these main issues that all livestock owners, producers, and those involved in the market chain need to be familiar with. A summary of the AVA's advocacy activities for December 2022 and January 2023

The national advocacy plan for 2023 was approved by the AVA Board at the December meeting and is now available for AVA members.
