Dr Geoff Golovsky may have been named the 2025 Veterinary Business Group (VBG) Business Professional of the Year, but he was quick to redirect the honour away from himself and towards his team.

Like every new graduate, Alex was learning how to consult, diagnose, and communicate with clients. But on top of that, were an array of challenges never seen before in the veterinary profession.

The event brought together 446 industry professionals, including 245 veterinarians and veterinary nurses, creating an atmosphere brimming with collaboration, energy, and the joy of shared learning.

Leading the group is President Dr Kathryn Cornack, who has been a member of the SIG since its formation nearly 30 years ago. With her longstanding commitment to integrative veterinary medicine, Dr Cornack has seen the field grow in both the profession and in pet-owning households.
