The AVA is looking for members interested in joining the SA Division Committee and local branches.

The Northern Territory Government is asking Territorians for feedback on a number of proposed amendments to the Animal Protection Act 2018 to continue to improve the welfare of animals across the NT.

The Federal Government are seeking feedback on migration pathways and a new Core Skills Occupations List. The AVA is currently preparing a submission and is inviting member feedback.

DAFF are reviewing Australia’s import policy for veterinary immunobiologicals (including vaccines). The AVI (Industry) Special Interest Group is the lead group for this submission. They have some questions for the wider profession to help inform the submission.

The Australian consultation on draft standards from the WOAH Terrestrial Code will open on Friday 19 April 2024.
