To help inform our work on the outcomes of the report, we are asking all members (regardless of which state or territory you are in) for your views.

The AVA WA Division is calling for an AVA member representative for the DPIRD Committee for Animal Welfare in Emergencies (CAWE).

Nominations are open for veterinarians to join a variety of WVA committees and working groups - expressions of interest close Thursday 4 July.

DPRID is undertaking a comprehensive review of the WA State Support Plan - Animal Welfare in Emergencies with feedback needed on the proposed amendments to the plan.

AVA Member feedback is urgently requested to inform AVA response to the review of Veterinary Practice in the ACT, including the Veterinary Practice Act 2018.

As it is now over 10 years since the full document has been reviewed, an update is required. Applications close 10 June 2024.

The SA Government has opened a consultation on proposed breeder reforms to the Dog and Cat Management Act. The AVA is seeking feedback from members to inform a submission.

The AVA is looking for members interested in joining the SA Division Committee and local branches.
