The AVA is currently preparing a submission on the consultation by the South Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) regarding their draft Veterinary Premises Standards. To assist in this, we are seeking feedback from AVA members by 6 October 2025.

“Dangerous dogs – a sensible solution” is a resource that was developed in 2012 to discuss and suggest a legislative approach to address dogs that may display behaviours dangerous to humans and other animals. As it is now over 12 years since the resource has been developed a review and update is required.
