The DVM4 Graduation dinner in December was a glamorous affair. Thank you to Dr Cathy Deague for representing AVA Victorian Division through her address and presentation of prizes.
Although the AVA is supportive of mechanisms to provide no-or low-cost animal health services to increase public compliance, the Victorian Division of AVA believes the burden of discounted services the context of current and emerging financial, workforce and mental health challenges of the veterinary profession needs to be more equitably shared across the community: to balance the substantial benefits that individuals and the community receive from healthy pets in most Australian homes.
